Coming Summer of 2025 - Mission RGV 2025

The mission of Rio Grande Valley Ministries is to provide educational materials and food to individuals and families in need.  We do this by providing spiritual encouragement through our Food and School Backpack Ministries.  

Rio Grande Valley Ministries hosts an annual week long mission event.  Various teams throughout Texas donate their time and resources to the success of this event.  During this week long mission event, hundreds of pounds of food and school backpacks will be given out.  It is not unusual to feed and minister to over 1500 people in 3 nights.   

Yes, you can designate your donation to a specific program or service offered by Rio Grande Valley Ministries. These include backpacks and school supplies.  You can designate to the food program or simply to the general needs such as logistical costs.  Our commitment is that 100% of your donation goes to the ministry.  RGV Ministries is a non-profit 501c3 organization   Please indicate your preference when making your donation.

Yes.  Rio Grande Valley Ministries is a non-profit 501c3 organization.  Your donations are tax deductible as a humanitarian charitable organization.  RGV Ministries will provide a letter for your tax records at your request.  Our commitment is that 100% of your donation goes to the ministry.  RGV Ministries has no paid staff and operates solely through individual or group donations.
